Different power supply’s topologies and fundamental designs are few. Linear, ferro-resonant, phase controlled, pulse width modulated, forward, flyback, mag-amps, allowing the development of a very high level of skill.

Repair Yield in excess of 97% is achieved, and a Warranty Yield less than 2%, for any reason, including customer error. If a power supply is returned "No Symptom Apparent" and an operating problem is suspected, Switchmode will pursue a solution to the problem.

2,710 different models repaired over the last ten years. Switchmode’s clients are not penalised by paying for reverse engineering expenses and subsidising free quotes, to non-paying customers. Any and all service provided is of value. A fair price is charged and only for service provided.
